Cheddar

England at one time was the only place where Cheddar cheeses were made. However, many countries all over the world manufacture Cheddar today. Cheddar cheese is a relatively hard, off-white (or orange if spices such as annatto are added), sometimes "sharp" (i.e., acidic)-tasting, natural cheese. Traditional orange Cheddar varieties available deli sliced in our store.
